Our Waterjet process can work for you instead of plasma cutting, if the tolerance is +/- .005 inch or greater. Unlike the plasma cutting, the Waterjet machines feature faster production rates and optimal part positioning and nesting to reduce material waste and part handling, which in turn lower overall costs. No distortion and no stresses are imparted to the material while producing a superior edge quality with minimal burr. The WaterJet cut is with no heat; the molecular structure of the material remains unaltered. This makes Waterjet the optimal process for rough machining. The abrasive Water Jet is an excellent alternative to plasma cutting.
